Coaches Jason and Skyla

September 16, 2021 - Jason Davis will lead our 11-1 team, along with Skyla Whitaker assisting. 

Coach Jason is no stranger to volleyball. As a father to volleyball players and as an educator, he knows a firm but fun and nurturing approach in teaching young volleyball players is important. Coach Jason has coached A5 South's 11U and 13U teams the past 2 seasons, as well as the Girls' & Boys' middle school volleyball team at McNair Middle School and Renaissance Middle School. He is passionate about coaching basketball and football as well. 

Assisting Coach Jason this season is A5 South Alumna Skyla Whitaker. Coach Sky began her A5 South career as a 13 yr old and graduated from Ola High School in McDonough. She accepted a full-ride scholarship to an HBCU Division I volleyball program at Bethune-Cookman and later on transfered to the Univ. of Minnesota - Crookston. She is currently finishing her senior year remotely and excited to be back home to coach the future of A5 South!

This driven and competitive coaching duo is determined to lead our young athletes to volleyball greatness this season. We can't wait to get the season started!
