*** Our 14s Coaches ***

Coaches Samantha, Truth, Haylea and Kelsi

September 19, 2021 - Samantha Bryan-Terry will lead our 14-1 team, with Truth Hafey assisting.

Coach Sam returns to A5 South after a hiatus from coaching to start her family. A graduate of Georgia Southern University, she volunteer assisted with the Division I volleyball program and played for their club team. As a high school and club athlete, she played both Setter and Defensive Specialist positions. Prior to A5 South, she also coached at other local clubs on the southside. Coach Sam has been a USA Volleyball Official and High School Referee for a decade.

This will be Coach Truth's first year with A5 South. She is currently a senior Setter at Georgia State University, where she is a Dean's Lister. A native of Colorado, she was a standout volleyball athlete and lettered in basketball and track & field at Fruita Monument High School. She began her collegiate journey at the JUCO level at Irvine Valley College before transfering to GSU. She is looking forward to being a part of the A5 South family and sharing her volleyball journey with players.

Although their colleges are rivals, both coaches are committed to working together to develop the future of A5 South.

Haylea Mannebach will be at the helm of our 14-2 team, assisted by Kelsi Dean.

Coach Haylea is no stranger to A5 South. Having played both at A5 South and A5, she has been a great mentor to our 16U players last season and looks forward to working with the 14U age group this year. Coach Haylea is currently the 9th Grade coach at East Coweta High School where she teaches Mathematics full-time. She played collegiate volleyball at the University of West Georgia, then transferred to UGA where she played club and earned her Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her quest for higher education continues with her current pursuit of a Master's Degree in Teaching.

Coach Kelsi is an A5 alumna who graduated from the Lovett School in Atlanta where she was not only a volleyball standout but a decorated track athlete as well. She then went on to play Division I volleyball at Belmont University in Nashville where she earned her degree in Business with an Accounting concentration. Although she works as a Business Operations Manager, her passion is in personal fitness training and has been focusing more on coaching her private clients lately. She has coached youth teams at A5 in Roswell in the past and excited to return to the A5 Family!

We love our Alumnae and excited about the impact they'll make on A5 South athletes! The lessons they learned throughout their volleyball journey will be a valuable part of their coaching toolkit.
